We are safely in our Super 8 Motel in Salt Lake City. It’s 1:18 a.m.– 3:18 EST. There was a thunderstorm in Dallas so we circled for about an hour in northwest Arkansas and then, since we didn’t have enough gas to stay afloat much longer, we landed in Tyler, Texas, with two other planes in a similar fix. After about a half hour getting gas and quite a while longer on the runway we went on to Dallas. Fortunately the Dallas-SLC flight was delayed, so we made it. We were in the first plane about 4 1/2 hours, but actually arrived at our final destination only about an hour late. Glad to have the first leg done. We’ve rented a Chevrolet Cruze. Fortunately, the car rental people stayed open late–we were the last ones. Now, Let The Fun Begin!
The heavens are telling of the glory of God; And their expanse is declaring the work of His hands. — Psalm 19:1
