Peanut Butter Cookies

I just finished making 64 “Peanut Butter Cookie Kisses”.  Making cookies takes lots of numbers because you have to count everything — 2 1/2 cups, 1/4 tsp , 1 tsp, 2 tsp, 1 1/4 cups, etc.  And, do a lot of stirring (except our mixer really did the work for me).  With a wife who is a chemist, you just have to be accurate or maybe there will be an explosion!

The recipe Joyce gave me said 72 cookies; the recipe on the package of kisses said 60; so I guess I must be average with my 64.

I am sending this to you so that you can rejoice in what I am eating during Christmastide and maybe you can also be a bit sad about what you are missing by not being here.

The hardest part of this cookie-making enterprise is not eating the kisses between their unwrapping and their being placed on the hot cookies.  Smile.

The cookies look so good! I was wondering if you would share the recipe for the warm cranberry tea that we had at the Christmas Party. It was so good! Thanks!

  3. Ellen, I’m looking forward to us getting to know each other better. I’m glad you enjoyed the cranberry tea. You can find the recipe at the URL address below. Merry Christmas! Joyce
